Open Arms, Open Hearts, Emergency response to Ukraine crisis

Beneficiaries: About 1050 refugees will benefit of direct services. The majority will be women. Also about 175 host families will benefit of support.

Budget: 249.995 EUR

Sub-granted organizations: AO Raza Încrederii, AO Servicii Sociale Durabile, AO Uniunea pentru Echitate și Sănătate

Project goal: Addressing the individual needs of Ukrainian refugees by providing immediate basic assistance and provision of support to families that host refugees. The project will be focused on three districts: Causeni, Criuleni, and Balti municipality.

Main activities:

  1. Mapping the needs of refugees and host families.
  2. Data analysis. Collecting and using disaggregated data for assessments and future programming.
  3. Provision of support to refugees and host families in the three regions. Types of support: food and hygiene products, basic household items, medicines, clothing, utilities, heating materials.
